In this film produced by the Hamburg-based studio Real Film.

Real film presented her as a new discovery in Die Dritte von rechts ("The Third from the Right"), a dance film featuring Vera Molnar as Katrin and Robert Lindner as Viktor.

But it was especcially Laya Raki who attracted attention. Short after the Second World War Laya performed as a dancer in Frankfurt, Berlin and other German cities. Her figure and erotic radiance became soon the talk of the town. As a consequence she was offered a small role in a movie who won two awards. In 1954 she moved to London. Promises of film roles proved to be empty but she attracted attention.  The Rank Organisation  gave Laya Rakit the role of the Maori chieftain's seductive wife Moana in "The Seekers" which was filmed in New Zealand and directed by Ken Annakin.
