A picture taken by René Prouho (1879 - 1970).
Prouho moved to Algeria in 1911 to become a professional photographer. He was one of the pioneers that showed a rare intensity in his work.
Between 1918 et 1930 Prouho travels extentive through Algeria and crosses several times the Sahara.
